Post Kharif 2024 Engagement Session, Dawalwadi

A joint discussion among RCBU, ISC and the Production functions was recently organized at Dawalwadi for better understanding of customer needs. During the program, employees who exhibited exceptional performance during the Kharif’24 season, which helped to supply quality seeds to farmers on time, were recognized through awards.

Integrated Supply Chain Awards

• Mr. Sudhir Mahajan, QA Coordinator was awarded for his excellent efforts in inventory management and close coordination with stakeholders for timely lot releases as per business requirements.

• Mahyco, with its consistent vision to enhance efficiency and implement sustainability initiatives in its operations, installed a WAD (Weak Acid Delinting) plant at Dhanora. This plant can provide 4-5 times of output in a day (around 15 MT) as compared to conventional delinting process and it has very miniscule impact on the environment as it uses weak acid, and it gets recycled during operations. Mr. Ishwar Patil, Center Incharge for Dhanora QA lab, Mr. Yogesh Ubale, WAD section Incharge, Dhanora, Mr. Avinash Kale, Cotton Processing Section Incharge, Dhanora, were awarded for their exceptional performance for managing WAD plant with delinting (15 lakh packets) and processing without any quality defects and timely completion of task.


• Mr. Ganesh Barve initiated and implemented Reverse Bidding system for vehicle placement at Dhanora plant which helped to reduce the logistic cost significantly.

Production Department Awards

• Regional Teams of Marathwada, Vidarbha, and North Karnataka were rewarded for safeguarding Chilli Parental lines through male pollen supply to production growers in Kharif 2023.

• North Region-1 and North Region-2 Teams were rewarded for their contribution to doubling the wheat production volume (Rabi 2023).


• The North Region-1 team was rewarded for the significant productivity improvement and seed cost optimization in Hybrid Carrot (Rabi 2023).

• Mr. Muralidhara B R was rewarded for his initiative to optimise the primary container cost for lifting seeds from growers.

• Top-3 Performances in Research Paddy sales: Central UP, Bihar and East UP.
  
• Top-3 Performances in Hybrid Paddy launch product sales: Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat.
  
• Top-3 Performances in Cotton launch product sales: Bhatinda, Yavatmal and Hisar.
  
• Top-3 Performances in Maize sales:  Nagar, Jalgaon and Karnataka Central.
  
• Tamilnadu region received special recognition for its outstanding performance in Maize business market share over last three years.
  
• Best Performances in Bajra sales: Jaipur
